Floral Fancies

I'm always one to say how much I prefer the autumn and winterry months, but today I was compelled to do a floral pattern. Sometimes it's just too cold.

Book Case Decoupage Design

Getting a bit too excited by Strictly Come Dancing to design a new pattern today, but here's one I did a few months back. We've just decoupaged the side of our book case with it, and I have to say it looks pretty good!

Friday!

So happy that's it's nearly the weekend! Some hearts again today, I was thinking this would work well on little childrens textiles.

Face Chelmsford

This month I've been featured in Local magazine Face, so if you're around town please take a look! Many thanks to Amy Mountney for writing it.x

Freya's Hearts

Today's pattern is inspired by a very cute little lady I know called Freya. She was one last week, and with a love of Cath Kidston and chocolate brownies, she's a girl after my own heart! Her mum Vicky writes a blog about Freya and being a mum: http://babyfreyadays.wordpress.com/
it's a lovely read :-)

Marbles

With all this snow I've had a lot of time on my hands! This pattern was inspired by marbles, I used to love collecting them when I was younger!

Mermaids Purses

Now for my 3rd snow day (am beginning to get a bit twitchy -haven't been outside for 3 days!). Apparently these look like mermaid's purses?

Celia

Following on from yesterdays pattern I thought I'd give it a try with some stripes and spots in the background. The swirly bits or 'jelly tot' bits are inspired by one of my favourite textile designers Celia Birtwell, so have named it 'Celia'.

Brrrrr!

I have the heating on full blast and yet still and sitting at my desk shivering today! Although no snow here still unfortunately :-(

Anyway, just found a load of pattern drawings I must have done while working at the shiny shed a while ago, quite excited as I now have a whole new lot of things to try out. Incidently the shiny shed will be back! There's a fundraiser coming up on Thursday - please go to:
