This weekend I ran a Workshop at Beaullah's Boutique, which has just opened in Chelmsford. This particular booking was for a Hen night, which I thought was such a good idea, there was tea, pretty cupcakes, nibbles and pink lemonade! And of course buttons, how everyone always loves buttons! I taught how to make vintage button necklaces alongside little felt flower brooches, it was so lovely seeing people enjoying making something, which aswell as being bang on trend will always hold a resonance that they made it at this particular hen night. People were comparing buttons, admiring others handy work and generally having a lovely time in a relaxed and comforting atmosphere.
