A Pattern A Day: Vintage Tea dance

Just got in from a lovely Vintage Tea Dance (organised at Anna @ www.bettyblueeyesvintage.com). Had such a lovely time filled with lots of tiny cucumber sandwiches, pretty cakes and plenty of tea. The only down side was that my dancing has a lot to be desired! Me and Ian just about managed to attempt the 'Lambeth Walk' without too many sore toes! Today my patterns were inspired by the dance - I was thinking of all things 1940's and vintage and was thinking bunting, I might tried some hand drawn varieties in the next few days.

  1. I would love to go to a tea dance! Sounds divine. Ha, we must both have bunting/flags on our mind. I'm creating three small canvases with flags on - see my work in progress post. :)

  3. Exactly! I would love too - just need to convince hubby. Do they serve ale as well as tea? ;)

  4. No, but they have a bar! Ian would be glad of the male company! I was too busy swooning over the cakes and hairstyles!
